Who we are
Alone we can do so little but together we can do so much.
Ordinary People, Amazing Things – the lion’s motto which motivated us ordinary people to come together and strive to make a difference in the lives of people less fortunate than ourselves. We believe it was one of the best and proudest moments of our lives, when our club was formally chartered and have since prided ourselves on being enthusiastic and forward-thinking.
Through this club, not only have we got the opportunity to contribute towards helping those in need, but also meet and make new friends from all walks of life. We have also got the lovely opportunity of exploring and learning about new cultures from our fellow Lions. We are a truly cosmopolitan club of men and women of various ethnic backgrounds, with a common desire to serve our community, and hopefully make a real difference in the lives of those in our community.
Our mission
As a non-profit organisation, with all our members unpaid volunteers, our mission is to empower each other, partners and the community to improve health and wellbeing and support those in need. Through humanitarian service and grants that impact lives globally, we can encourage peace and international understanding. We fulfil this every day, everywhere we serve
